Through a series of assessments Brightminds Online School will evaluate your formal and informal learning, training, skills, as well as work and volunteering experiences. According to the Ministry of Education you may earn up to 26 of the 30 secondary school credits required to graduate and obtain your OSSD.This program available to mature students is called “Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition for Mature Students” (PLAR).
In order to qualify you must be a resident of Ontario and one of the following:
- refugee claimant
- permanent resident
- Convention refugee
- Canadian citizen
