What is BrightMinds Online School?
Understanding The Ontario EDUCATION SYSTEM
The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) requires that students successfully complete at least 30 credits, 18 compulsory and 12 optional courses. In addition, students are required to complete 40 hours’ worth of community involvement and must successfully pass the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT). You can learn more about the Ontario Education System, by watching our detailed presentation.

BrightMinds offers a wide range of compulsory and optional credit courses for each grade level. Our guidance helps students in finding proper placement for their community hours. We offer online prep classes for OSSLT. Students who are unsuccessful in passing the Literacy Test can enroll in our online Literacy Course, OSSLC

Environmental
Effectiveness
By its very nature, e-learning is considerably more environmentally friendly than the brick and mortar schools. At BrightMinds, we have taken this one step further, making a conscious effort to minimize our carbon footprint by printing and mailing less. The majority of processes at BrightMinds are paperless and completed through appropriate online softwares. We encourage our students and parents to do their bit as well by choosing our paperless options as much as possible.

Cultural Awareness
and Appreciation
We believe that our students will be more interested and engaged in their studies if they see themselves and the contribution of their people and country in the course content that is provided to them. It is as such that in the design and development of each course, particular attention has been made to include the history, achievement and contribution of all people who have made Canada a great place.
