This course enables students to develop their understanding of basic concepts in biology, chemistry, earth and space science, and physics, and to relate science to technology, society, and the environment. Throughout the course, students will develop their skills in the processes of scientific investigation. Students will acquire an understanding of scientific theories and conduct investigations related to sustainable ecosystems; atomic and molecular structures and the properties of elements and compounds; the study of the universe and its properties and components; and the principles of electricity.

This workshop is designed for Grade 7 to Grade 12.
The daily session lasts 6 hours, from 10 am to 4 pm. Kids will learn strategies on how to pronounce words and sentences by reading books, develop critical thinking and STEM skills by coding along and exploring how to use mathematical concepts in the real world by lively and interesting experiments.
A step-by-step guide to help kids choose their own books and read independently. The live sessions are designed for Grade 3 to Grade 6. Kids will learn how to write letters, journals, and create graphic organizers based on the text read in class.
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These live sessions are designed for Grade 4 to Grade 8 who are interested in developing their skills in STEM.
This option is for ESL and mature students. For ESL students, they will need to take the English assessment test, to see which ESL level they will be placed in.
For mature students (without any transcripts), they will need to take the math, English, and science assessment test to determine their credit equivalency.
This option is for our part time high school students who are graduating this year and need their marks to be uploaded onto OUAC/OCAS by BrightMinds Online School. Please note that the marks get uploaded by the student’s main school, thus it is important to inform your guidance counsellor at your school to avoid any miscommunication.
